Building Your Leadership Plan
It’s easy to assume that once we know something, we’ll change. But knowing and doing are different muscles.
That’s where structured development, and the right kind of accountability, make all the difference.
One of the most valuable things I do with clients is help them turn raw feedback into something they can actually use. The Leadership Circle Profile (LCP), a tool I’m certified in, is often the foundation for that work.
Yes, the report gives deep insight into patterns, blind spots, and strengths. But insight alone won’t change your leadership. Action does. And not just any action, aligned action, grounded in who you are, the impact you want to make, and what your team most needs from you.
From Awareness to Action
Knowing isn’t doing.
That’s something I remind my clients all the time. Not as a challenge, but as a gentle call forward.
It’s easy to assume that once you see a pattern, you’ll stop doing it. But real shifts take repetition, reflection, and a plan.
That’s why, after putting together an LCP and reviewing the report, we don’t just stop at awareness. We co-create a Leadership Development Plan: a structure that brings clarity to where you’re focusing, how you’ll show up differently, and what will tell you it’s working.
Why Accountability is a Hot Mess
The word accountability can carry weight. But in this context, it’s not about pressure.
It’s about mutual understanding. Direction. Rhythm. Follow-through.
In coaching, that accountability becomes:
A space to reflect on what’s working and what’s not
A mirror to check whether your actions match your values
A structure for staying grounded in intention, even when the day-to-day pulls you elsewhere
Perfection isn't the goal (we are human after all). We are aiming for consistency. Small, consistent changes over time create big shifts. You don’t have to get it right every time. But when you’re showing your team that you’re in the work, they’re more likely to join you.
Owning Your Impact
The LCP helps uncover where your leadership is landing the way you intend and where it’s not. It gives language to what you might feel, but haven’t fully seen.
What happens next is where the real growth lives. I love this part: supporting leaders in translating insight into impact.
And in the process, we’re strengthening culture.
Because when you show up differently, the ripple effect is real.
If you're ready to turn insight into meaningful action—and want a guide who can help you stay grounded, focused, and accountable—I’d love to connect.
